Platteville Farmers Market Newsletter
Art at the Market
happens the first Saturday of the month, although there are vendors attending other Saturdays. You may find many unique items for yourself, or gifts for others. Here are just some of what is offered:
> Gallery Quality Art : jewelry, photography, fine woodworking, mosaic, turned wooden bowls, and other exceptional items.
> Handcrafted Creations: candles, natural soaps/sundries, crocheted/sewn items, and much more.
Remember to enjoy and support the coffee stand at the Market.
Non-profit groups or organizations can contact Gary Olson at olsong@centurylink.net to host the stand as a fund-raising effort. Badger Brothers Coffee contributes the freshly roasted and brewed coffee. We appreciate their generosity to our community.
Buy Local
Buying local not only saves gas, but helps to support the vendors at our Platteville Farmers Market. When purchasing produce grown locally, you can count on it being as fresh as if you had your own garden. Also, the items offered by artists and crafters are created for you right here in Wisconsin. So feel free to stop by Saturday mornings and see what your friendly Platteville Farmers Market vendors have to offer.
What's at the Farmers Market this Saturday?
A seasonal variety of plants, produce, products and other goodies will be available. Check our listing of vendors to see more specific items they offer.
