Crews are finishing paving today (10/20/14)! Madison Street may be temporarily closed at times in order to place the asphalt paving, but the contractor will open up the streets as soon as possible to allow traffic through.

Asphalt paving is intended to be ready sometime this week (10/13). Until then the streets will be open, but gravel. Final landscaping, painting stripes and crosswalks will be after asphalt paving.

1. The middle section of the concrete pavement was finished up on Wednesday (9/24) and it will be ready to drive on next Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime, the east line is open for traffic to drive on. (The west lane is too, but it is only 8’ wide) 2. The concrete pavement at Madison Street was completed on Wednesday. We are, however, going to keep this intersection closed until the bituminous pavement is placed so that we don’t open and close it multiple times and confuse people. The east (north bound) lane is poured to the project limits. It will not be open to traffic until Tuesday 9/23. Depending on weather, they will pour the west (south bound) lane on Thursday 9/18. During the pour, there will be no access on that section of Broadway. Once the pour is done, the center lane will be open to emergency traffic.
