The service is open to ALL citizens.
Hours of Operation and Fares as of January 1, 2012:
- 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday
- 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday
Fares within City Limits:
- $2.75 for regular passengers
- $2.50 for seniors over the age of 65, handicapped persons and children of high school age or below.
- $1.00 for additional riders to same location within the City Limits.
Fares outside of the City Limits:
- $2.00 per mile above and beyond the appropriate base rate.
**Fares for intermediate stops (ATM, etc.) will be $1.00 per stop.**
Shared Ride Taxi will not operate on the following holidays:
The Shared Ride Taxi program subsidizes the cab operator with Federal, State and City funding for about 75 – 80 percent of the expenses. Fares cover the remaining 20 – 25 percent. The Director of Public Works is the link between Top Hat, Inc. and all government programs.
