Put on your free 3-D glasses and joyfully enter the world of 3-D Photography and Beyond. Be amazed at 3-D Anaglyph images and stereopticon cards. Marvel as 3-D “Phantograms” mysteriously rise up from the flat page, a magical pseudo hologram, candy for your eyes that will bring out the wonder of your soul and put a smile on your face. Artist David J. Meinhardt offers you this experience and more at Rountree Gallery from July 28 – August 29. Refresh yourself at the Artist Reception on Sunday, August 1 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., where you can meet David, have some food and punch, see his 3-D camera rig, and talk about all things 3-D. The month-long exhibit also showcases David’s work in Infrared, whimsical and social commentary photography, as well as, multi-media installation art pieces, and maybe a poem or two.
David is a fourth generation artist. His great-grandfather did carvings and design, his grandfather was a commercial artist and designer, and his mother was a water color artist. David’s creative endeavors entail poetry, installation art, photography, and audio/video production.
