Fourth Street Construction Update | Apr 21, 2015
The contractor may begin removal of pavement and curb on Fourth St. between Furnace and Cedar as early as this afternoon or tomorrow. The contractor will smooth driveway entrances so that residents can get in/out of their driveways. Underground construction is not scheduled until next week at the earliest.
Fourth Street Progress 4-16-2015 | Apr 20, 2015
Staff conducted a Progress Meeting with representatives from Delta 3, Maddrell Excavating and Alliant Energy at 9:00 a.m. on site. Current Status: Work began on 4-9-15. As of 4-16-15, the contractor installed storm sewer protection, barricades, removed pavement from Main to Furnace and began work. Sanitary sewer main line from Main to Mineral is complete. Service laterals temporarily hooked up. Water main installed from Main to Mineral and tied in at Main Street and on Mineral Street to the east. Fourth Street Construction Has Commenced | Apr 10, 2015
The Fourth Street Construction project began on Thursday, April 9th. Crews are currently in the process of removing pavement and sidewalk between Main and Furnace Streets. For this reason, the intersection of Fourth and Mineral has been blocked. We recommend that use Furnace Street for any needs you have in that area.
