Hours of Operation As of January 1, 2002:

• 6 AM to 10 PM Monday - Saturday and 7 AM to 1 PM on Sunday
• Fares: $2.00 for first rider - within City Limits
• $0.50 for additional riders to same location within the City Limits

The Platteville Cab Service has served Platteville with Shared Ride Taxi service since 1983. The Shared Ride Taxi program subsidizes the cab operator with Federal, State and City funding for about 75 - 80% of the expenses. Fares cover the remaining 20 - 25%. The Director of Public Works is the link between the Platteville Cab Service and all Government programs.
