Every 3rd Friday of the month—this month May 16th—Holy Rosary Church in Darlington will have a Mobile Food Pantry, open from 2:00 to 3:00pm in the parking lot of the church. The Platteville High School and Middle School Art Exhibit will be on display at Rountree Gallery through May 25th. This exhibit will showcase the outstanding talent of the high school/middle school students and will include art work in a variety of mediums. The Gallery is open week-ends 10:00-4:30 on Saturday and 12:00-4:00 on Sunday.

The Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore is having its 3rd Annual Steak Supper in their parking lot. Steaks will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 or until the steaks are gone. The proceeds from this event will go toward the Center’s Scholarship Fund.
Montfort United Methodist Church will hold a Steak Supper, serving from 5:00 to 7:30pm. Carryouts available.

SATURDAY, MAY 17
The Platteville VFW will hold a re-naming ceremony at the Armory beginning at 2:00pm. This is in honor of Christopher Splinter, who was killed in action in Iraq on December 24th, 2003. The public is invited.
There will be a Benefit Dance & Auction, for Angie Hutchcroft of Arthur, at Yoder’s in Rockville. The benefit starts at 5:00, with live music provided by Mr. Obvious starting at 8:00pm. Cover charge is $5.00.
The American Legion Post at 1306 Delhi St, in Dubuque, is having its 11th Annual Armed Forces Day Banquet and Awards Ceremonies beginning at 5:30 with the social hour and dinner will be served at 7:00pm. There will also be a raffle and silent auction.
