Public Works Director, Howard Crofoot Receives Award From Wisconsin Asphalt Paving Association

PLATTEVILLE, WI (December 5, 2016) – City of Platteville Public Works Director, Howard Crofoot has received a Local Innovation Award from the Wisconsin Asphalt Paving Association (WAPA) for the City’s Thin Overlay Program.  Howard and Jerid Baranczyk from Iverson Construction gave a presentation on the program at the WAPA conference in Madison on Tuesday, November 29th.  Platteville began using the Thin Overlay during the summer of 2002 and has been successful in extending the pavement life for many streets.
