We're Glad You Asked – How Can I Sign Up For Emergency Notifications?

Emergency CodeRed - We're Glad You Asked

As we reflect on Severe Weather Awareness Week, the City of Platteville wanted to give a friendly reminder of the Emergency Notification System that we utilize.

CodeRED is a community notification system that is used to send important alerts and time-sensitive messages to community members and visitors. Along with emergency and critical messages, the CodeRED notification system is also used for the release of important but non-emergency information such as road closures, snow removal schedules and other city services.

For more information and how to enroll, visit https://www.platteville.org/police/page/codered
Please note: Non-residents may sign-up for notifications through the same web enrollment page, however, they will have to list or mark an address within the City of Platteville boundaries.

The City of Platteville will be answering frequently asked questions in a new web and social media campaign titled, “We’re Glad You Asked!” Do you have a question you would like answered? Feel free to send us an email at cityofplatteville@platteville.org or an inbox message to The City of Platteville, Wisconsin Facebook page.
