Thank you, Mike and Marsha Stewart for your $10,000 donation to the New Platteville Fire Facility project!

The Stewart's commented, "Platteville is fortunate to have a dedicated volunteer fire department. There are a number of issues a new facility would address along with the overcrowded conditions in the present building. After seeing and hearing the issues they are dealing with, we felt a strong need to contribute to this project. We both have had the quick response and care from emergency responders in Platteville. It's never known when you will need them in an emergency. Take a tour and hear firsthand the issues they face in the current station. Getting a $7 million Federal grant reinforces the idea that this project is a bargain our community cannot miss out on. Remember - the fire department will always be there for you in any emergency. Can you be there for them?"
