Kathy is a Platteville native, having graduated from Platteville High School and then attended UW-Platteville.  Her background is varied - having worked in the loan department of a bank, owning a retail clothing store and also co-owned an engineering company for over 16 years.  Kathy retired in 2020 from her position as Executive Director of the Platteville Regional Chamber after 27 years.  She was elected to the Grant County Board of Supervisors in April of 2021 representing District 13 (City of Platteville) where she serves on the Administrative Committee, ADRC Committee, Ag/Extension/Fair Board, and Economic Development, Tourism & Resource Committee. She serves on the Tourist Information Center Grant Review Committee for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism.  She continues to be involved in numerous organizations: President, Platteville Kiwanis; Secretary of the Veterans Honor Roll Association; Thrift Shop Board of Directors; and is a member of Platteville Optimist Club and Platteville Quota Club.   

Kathy has been appointed to serve on the Police and Fire Commission; the Airport Commission; Commission on Aging and the Joint Extra-Territorial Board for the City of Platteville.

Kathy and her husband, Joe, have four children and nine grandchildren.  Her hobbies are gardening, photography and long-Sunday drives.
