2023 - Jefferson Street Reconstruction Project

The objective of the project is to replace utilities and completely reconstruct Jefferson Street from Madison Street to the cul-de-sac and to replace sanitary sewer and storm sewer piping from Jefferson Street to Kase Street. This project will be bid in early 2023, work will start in April/May 2023, and it should be completed in October/November 2023.
Status Updates
October 19th, 2023
Starting Monday, October 23rd, 2023, Iverson Construction will be onsite to install the first layer of asphalt pavement on Jefferson Street (Madison Street to the cul-de-sac), Kase Street, along with the asphalt driveway at 840 Jefferson Street.
Please have your vehicle removed from these streets by 7am on Monday, October 23rd, 2023.

A Public Information meeting will be held this Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 6:00 pm on site.
June 20, 2023
Unfortunately, the contractor did not receive the supplies needed to begin the project. They hope to have the supplies next week. Depending on when the supplies arrive, the crew may not start until July 5.
January 18, 2023
A Public Information meeting regarding the upcoming Jefferson Street Reconstruction Project will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall.
