Board of Appeals - Zoning
The Zoning Board of Appeals hears appeals and applications regarding variances and exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance. This board is able to grant variances and exceptions to the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, in harmony with the purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
The Board of Appeals (Zoning) meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers.
The Zoning Board of Appeals shall consist of five members and three alternate members; all members shall be residents of the City. The members shall be appointed by the President of the Common Council, subject to confirmation of the Common Council. The members shall be appointed for terms of three years.
