Families Take Event Center Total to $370,000!

Joining Myron & Sheila Tranel ($~$6,000 – 1500 bushels of corn) as family contributors are Gene and Jan Weber ($2,500), Doug Rogers family ($1,000), Anonymous Family ($5,000), Karen Kurt ($1000), Jo Roling Family ($1,000 – pictured right), Bob and Victoria Hundhausen ($1,000 – pictured below).

Other families have contributed $1,000, $3,000, $300, $250, $100, $25 and $10 – donations of all sizes are important – they all help us meet our goal of having 1000 families and organizations listed on our entrance kiosk along with fully funding the event center.

Sheri Engelke, Chair Person of the Legion Park Event Center Committee, noted: “Families are what we are all about.  The Legion Park Event Center (Art Hall) has a long history of family reunions, weddings and graduations.  We are hoping hundreds of families contribute!”

Families contributing $1,000 or more will have their name on a sunburst ray inside the event center.   Those wishing to be a part of this effort may send checks to Inspiring Community, Inc. PO Box 503, Platteville, Wi 53818 and note “Event Center” on memo line.  Or feel free to drop them off at WB&T to Sheri Engelke or Dupaco to Jo Roling.
