Join Hailey, local Dementia Care Specialist with the ADRC, to learn about dementia and communication strategies to promote positive interactions. In this workshop, participants will learn about dementia, its types and stages, and changes that occur in the brain that can make communicating more challenging as the disease progresses. Participants will also learn techniques and strategies for effective communication when working with people with dementia.
