Library Specialist - Adult Services

The library is seeking a tech-savvy, collaborative individual with demonstrated research and customer service skills. This person will work with the Adult Services staff to assist patrons with library accounts, check library materials out and in, answer reference questions, plan and execute events, and maintain library collections.

Required Skills: Strong communication skills, computer skills, research skills, customer service skills, adaptability, and ability to work as a team are necessary. Previous library experience is desirable.

Minimum Education: Two years of study at an accredited college, university, or technical school.

Schedule: 20 hours/week. Work includes at least one dedicated evening per week and at least one weekend per month in rotation.

Wage & Benefits: Starting wage of $17.87/hour. This position is eligible for leave benefits, including paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal time.
