Friends of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums Invite the Community to Mini Fall Festival 2026

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Celebrate the beauty of autumn with family, friends, and fun at Mini Fall Festival, hosted by the Friends of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums, 405 E. Main Street, Platteville.
The community event welcomes visitors of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of seasonal activities, including:
- Pumpkin Decorating
- Kids' activities from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
- Scavenger hunt from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Pick & Gad Raffle drawing and Scavenger Hunt winner announcements at 3:00 p.m.
Attendees can also purchase tickets for seasonal treats, including cookies, apple cider, and apple cider donuts. Tickets are $1 each.
In addition to festival fun, guests are invited to explore the region’s rich mining heritage through guided museum and underground mine tours—an unforgettable experience that can be scheduled by visiting the museums’ website or calling for details.
"Mini Fall Festival is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at the museums while celebrating the fall season," stated Deb Jenny, Friends of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums President. "Whether you're participating in the scavenger hunt, enjoying pumpkin decorating, or simply stopping by for a cider and donut, there's something for everyone."
