If you haven't done so already, now is a great time to get signed up for automated weather warnings by registering for Grant County's FREE Code Red Notification System. To register, text GRANTWIALERTS to 24639 or visit the registration portal at https://accountportal.onsolve.net/grantcountywinotifications and choose "City of Platteville" for where you want to receive alerts from.

Code Red will be used by Grant County and local communities to keep residents informed and aware. The system can be used to make residents aware of threats to safety, missing children/persons, inclement weather, utility outages and to communicate other important messages or instructions. You can choose to receive messages by telephone, text and email. There is no cost for this service.
