City of Platteville Closures, Cancellations and Winter Weather Updates For Week of March 16, 2026

Snow Plowing
With the continuous snow, crews are focusing on emergency routes and are working on side streets when they can.

Dowtown will be cleared on early Thursday, March 19, primarily removing snow piles that interfere with parking. 

Garbage & Recycling Collection
Due to the weather, all garbage & recycling collection routes will be operating on a 1 day delay for the week of March 15, 2026.
