City of Platteville Designates Warming Centers as Extreme Cold Approaches

With dangerously cold temperatures expected to begin Friday, January 23, 2026, the City of Platteville has identified several locations that will be available as Warming Centers to help residents stay safe.

Platteville Police Department – 165 N. 4th Street 
Friday (1/23), Saturday (1/24), & Sunday (1/25) – 24-hours

Platteville City Hall – 75 N. Bonson Street 
Friday (1/23) – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Platteville Public Library – 225 W. Main Street
Friday (1/23) – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday (1/24) – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday (1/25) – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
