Platteville City Hall Closed to the Public

PLATTEVILLE, WI (March 23, 2020) – Platteville City Hall, located at 75 N. Bonson Street will be temporarily closed to the public effective Wednesday, March 18 at 5:00 p.m. For election information, please view the City Clerk/Voting Updates webpage, or contact the City Clerk's office at (608) 348-9741, menu option 6. 

All City departments will continue to provide essential services to residents while limiting in-person interaction in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Staff will be available to answer phones and respond to emails during the regularly scheduled hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Most business can be conducted electronically through the City website at www.platteville.org, or by phone (608) 348-9741.

A drop box is also available outside City Hall to drop off utility and fire inspection payments. Due to the Governor’s Executive Stay at Home Order, City Hall will be closed to the public until Tuesday, May 26th or until further notice.

City officials are taking these steps as a precaution and for the health and safety of staff and the community.
