Police Department Updates

March 15, 2020
To help maintain the health of citizens, and our employees, officers will be handling most non emergent calls for service by telephone. Complainants are to contact our department through the non-emergency number (608)348-2313, rather than reporting in person. The Police Department will continue providing police service 24 hours per day, however the front lobby will be closed. Those who must report in person should use the white call box in the front vestibule to speak with a telecommunicator.

If you need to pay a citation, have officers complete a civil paper service or would like to request home security checks or Platteville Police Department records, please visit the City of Platteville website: www.platteville.org/police.

There is a tab at the bottom of the page for forms, permits and applications. These services are provided online.

If you were involved in a vehicle crash and would like a copy of the report, please visit crashreports.wi.gov.  You will need to know the date the crash occurred and the driver's license number of the involved driver.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take every precaution to continue providing police service to the City of Platteville during this uncertain time.
