Bill and Jean Sanders Donate $12,000 to the New Platteville Public Pool Project

A huge thank you to Bill and Jean Sanders for their generous donation to the Platteville Aquatic Center — and for sharing such an inspiring Margaret Mead quote!

Bill and Jean shared:

*“We are making this donation towards the Platteville Aquatic Center to add to the many amenities that make Platteville the City of the Good Life. It is here that we find people who are willing to pull together to take care of our own and those in the surrounding community. We continue to be amazed at the generosity of those living here and near that have supported projects to enhance the quality of life.

We suspect there are many in Platteville that believe Margaret Mead’s quote, ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.’

Our kids, grandkids, and great grandkids love coming to Platteville as there are so many things to do. We can’t wait to spend a leisure day cooling off at the new Aquatic Center. We hope others will contribute to make this Center a reality soon.”*
