Bob and Lizzy Gates Donate $100,000 to the New Platteville Public Pool Project

WOW! A heartfelt thank you to Bob and Lizzy Gates—not only for their incredibly generous donation, but also for the countless hours of time and energy they’ve poured into making our new pool truly special for everyone.
Bob and Lizzy shared why the pool means so much to them:
"Our two daughters essentially grew up at the pool—taking swim lessons, participating in swim team, and working at the pool from ages 14–20. During that time, we saw the importance of the pool to the Platteville community on many levels. We are thrilled to be in a position to support the new pool and can't wait to see future generations enjoying it for many years to come."
Even though their children are grown, the Gates family continues to give generously of their time, energy, and resources so that future generations can enjoy a public pool that’s welcoming and accessible to all.
