Appeals Process

The 2026 assessment cycle is complete. In-person exterior and interior property reviews for the 2027 assessment year will begin in September of 2026. Assessment notices will be sent to all property owners in 2027 even if your assessment doesn’t change. Property owners can ask questions and appeal an assessment change at Open Book and Board of Review meetings. Open Book and Board of Review notices will be posted when these meetings are scheduled in 2027

The City's appraiser, Associated Appraisal Consultants, can be contacted via phone (920-749-1995), Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or via email at info@apraz.com. The assessor will be available for calls to discuss property values from the time assessment notices are received until 48 hours before the Board of Review convenes. The assessor will explain how your assessment was prepared, review the property record for your property and explain what factors were considered in determining a value for your property.

There will also be a 2-hour roll viewing open book period meant for community members to view the roll per state law requirements. Open Book/Tax Roll Viewing and Board of Review will take place in City Hall, 75 N Bonson during the times listed below.
