Licenses and Permits

The majority of licenses and permits need to be approved by the Common Council before being issued by the City Clerk.  The Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.  Applications need to be submitted to the Clerk's Office by Monday, the week prior to a regularly scheduled Council meeting, in order to be placed on that Council meeting agenda.  Alcohol licenses must be filed with the City Clerk 15 days prior to the Council meeting, and may need to attend the License Committee meeting first.  If you have any questions, please stop in or call the Clerk's Office at 348-9741 x6.
