Comptroller

Platteville, Wisconsin (est. population 12,433) is currently accepting applications for Comptroller.  This is a management position responsible for the professional, managerial and administrative work associated with all aspects of the financial and accounting activities for the City including the Water and Sewer Utilities. This position reports to the Administration Director and supervises a staff of three full-time employees.  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 5 years of related work experience. Direct experience in municipal fund accounting and/or utility accounting is highly desirable. CPA or CMA designation preferred.  The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, customer service focused, analytical, has the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines and is a strong manager. 

Salary: $28.59/hour. The City offers a competitive benefit package.
