Draft 2026 Platteville Comprehensive Plan Available for Public Review and Comment

The City of Platteville is partnering with the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan. This draft plan is designed to guide Platteville’s growth, development, and community priorities over the next 10 years.

Community input is an important part of the planning process. Residents, businesses, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft plan and submit comments. Feedback will be accepted until the anticipated adoption date of March 24, with a preferred deadline for written comments of February 26.

The City encourages all interested community members to review the document and share their input to help shape Platteville’s future.

The tentative review and approval schedule for the plan is as follows:

  • February 2 – Plan Commission review and discussion
  • March 2 – Plan Commission public hearing and action
  • March 10 – Council information and discussion
  • March 24 – Council action
