13-20: 2021 2.5Ton Plow Truck
City of Platteville, Wisconsin will be accepting sealed bids for the following piece of equipment for the Street Department.
A) One (1) 2021 Dump Truck w/12’ snowplow, 9’ front-mounted wing, and
a 96’’ stainless steel salt spreader.
Documents may be obtained in the Office of the Director of Public Works, Municipal Building, 75 N. Bonson Street, Platteville, WI 53818 or from the City of Platteville website: www.platteville.org under Bids/RFPs. Questions regarding documents should be directed to the Office of the Director of Public Works: (608) 348‐9741 ext 2238. Questions regarding the truck specifications should be directed to Nick Seng, Street Superintendent, at (608) 348‐8828.
Equipment and truck chassis can be bid separately.
Sealed quotes with the envelope clearly marked indicating the item quoted will be received in the Office of the Director of Public Works, Municipal Building, in the temporary office space located on the first floor until 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020. Please deliver sealed quotes to the entrance door marked N1 on the north side of the Municipal Building.
The quotes shall be made out on the proposal forms furnished by the City of Platteville. Any alteration or extension of the form or the furnishing on it of unsolicited information may cause the quote to be declared informal and result in its being rejected.
The City of Platteville reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, to waive any informalities or to accept the proposal deemed the most advantageous to said city.
