Disconnections

Disconnection day is generally the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

Payments are due PRIOR to disconnection day. If you come to our office to make a payment on the day of disconnections, you run the risk of having your water shut off.

If you cannot pay your bill, you must come to our office to sign a payment agreement. We cannot do this over the phone. A down payment will be required - generally about 30% of your bill.

Service will be disconnected for any customer with a past due balance of $100 or more. Disconnection notices will be sent around the 25th of the month to all unpaid account holders. This will allow the customer an additional ten (10) days to pay the bill before the actual disconnection occurs; however, immediate payment is recommended. The date for disconnection is on the notice.

Reconnection fees: Reinstallation of meter $35, after hours $50; valve turned on at curb $35, after hours $50. Please note that we will not reconnect after business hours unless there is a medical emergency. Contact the Utility Superintendent, Ryan Kowalski at 608.778.4701 for emergency reconnections. Documentation from your doctor will be required.
