Contract #16-19: Harvesting Grass in the Platteville Industry Park

Sealed bids for the harvesting of grass on land in the Platteville Industry Park owned by the City of Platteville for the 2019 growing season will be received in the Office of City Manager, Municipal Building, 75 North Bonson Street, Platteville, WI 53818 up to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at which time and place all bids shall be publicly opened and read.

The land is approximately 44 acres.  It is expected that there will be at least two cuttings.  Bid proposals are on file for examination and may be obtained in the Office of the Director of Public Works, Municipal Building, phone (608) 348-9741, extension 2238.

In accordance with the contract, the bidder recognizes that the land is reserved for Industrial Development.  At any time, the City may exercise its right to take all or part of the grassland for development. 

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids.
