Spring Clean up: April 8 & 9, 2024

The City of Platteville annual spring clean-up will be held on Monday, April 8 & Tuesday, April 9, 2024, with pick up the same day as your normal refuse collection. Items must be placed neatly at the curb by 7:00am on the day of pick up.

All items must be stacked neatly and be in a pile no larger than 10’ x 4’ x 4’.

▪  Brush & yard waste will be included in the spring clean-up. Please have items to curb by Sunday evening and placed separately from weekly garbage. The $1.00 bags are not required during this special Spring Clean-Up.

▪  Scrap metal should be stacked neatly, separate from other refuse. Scrap metal and yard waste does not count toward the maximum size limit.

Please have items on curbside by 7:00am on your normal trash pickup day. This service is provided to one-and two-family dwellings only.

Prohibited Items:

▪   all appliances

▪   all electronics, batteries & tires

▪   Refuse from major construction and remodeling projects

▪   oil, anti-freeze, insecticides, and hazardous chemicals
